Are Kill The Jukebox Live?

Yes, Kill The Jukebox are a fully live four or five piece band. We do not use any pre-recorded backing tracks or midi files - quite rare nowadays !

What instruments are in the band?

The band consists of male vocals plus a rhythm section of guitar, bass, keyboard & drums. Occasional guest female vocals.

What kind of music do you perform?

The bands primary repertoire is made up of 'classic pop covers' from the 50's through to the present day. Please refer to the song list for more details.

What kind of functions do you perform at?

Kill The Jukebox are available for Wedding Receptions, Birthday Parties, Anniversaries, Private Functions & Corporate Functions, Charity Balls, Social Clubs and Pubs.

How long do you normally play for?

For a pub or social club event, the band will normally perform two 45 minute sessions with an interval.
For a wedding reception or private function a single 90 minute showcase is more popular as it is carefully compiled to provide a continuous dance experience.

Can you play music in between sets?

Kill The Jukebox can on request provide background music through its excellent sound system, prior to and during intervals, between sets and afterwards as a formal disco until the close of your function.

Our favourite song is not on your list - can you play it for our wedding?

Given sufficient notice, as a special request, the band will review your song choice and do everything they can to accommodate you.

How far will the band travel?

Kill The Jukebox are available across the North West, particularly Greater Manchester, Lancashire & Cheshire. Previous areas have included Bolton, Bury, Burnley, Chester, Chorley, Horwich, Liverpool, Lymm, Lytham St Annes, Oldham, Pott Shrigley, Preston, Rochdale, Standish, Stockport, Stretton, Upholland, Warrington, Widnes, Wigan.

Do you have Public Liability Insurance / a PAT Testing Certificate?

Yes, Kill The Jukebox has a PAT Testing Certificate (which is renewd annually). Also, each band member has Public Liability Insurance and are able to provide evidence of such to your venue by request.
